USD 410 Board of Education passed a motion to allow school-sponsored dances.

The resignation of Grace Utting, associate dean of student development at Tabor College who has served at the college in health and student services since 1963, was announced recently by President Roy Just.

Mr. and Mrs. George Evans of Canton announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Marie, to Vincent Jantz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jantz of Tampa.

Dr. and Mrs. Herbert Friesen and family were in Collinsville, Okla., as guest speakers at the Mennonite Brethren Church on Sunday.

Emma Wiederstein and Tillie Herbel were guest of Mr. and Mr. Leroy Hiebert in Wichita for a family dinner to celebrate the birthday of Lon Warren.

Recent guests in the home of Mrs. John Prieb were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ehrlick of Wichita and Mr. and Mrs. Menno Schroeder of Buhler.
