Beth Hiebert was crowned Hillsboro High School Homecoming queen Friday in a ceremony before the football game with Remington. Hillsboro won the game, 33-0.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Dalke announce the birth of their son, Benjamin James, at Axtell Christian Hospital Oct. 4.

More than 50 Airstream travelers converged on Hillsboro this weekend. Rallies like the one held in Hillsboro are nothing unique. Owners of the long, silver Airstream trailers have been getting together for nearly 25 years. The trailers were parked at Marion County Fairgrounds.

Albert Reimer celebrated the start of his 25th year in the automobile business in Hillsboro at Tuesday's Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce luncheon at First National Bank community room.

An open house for relatives and friends honoring Mrs. John (Susie) Bartel on the occasion of her 85th birthday will be held from 2-4:30 p.m. Oct. 21 of First Mennonite Church.

A coffee was given Saturday in the home of Thelma Regier honoring Ida Gross, former nurses' supervisor of Salem Hospital.
