Mr. and Mrs. Timothy L. Parmley of Florence announce the arrival of their first child, James Daniel, born April 19, at Bethel Deaconess Hospital in Newton. He weighed 5 pounds 13 1/2 ounces and was 18 1/2 inches long.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Dalke announce the birth of their son, Dustin Bryant, born April 22 at Salem Hospital. He has two brothers and a sister.
The USD 410 Board of Education approved contracts for James Hein for the auto mechanic's position at HHS and Harvey Jantz for K-4 principal at Hillsboro and 5-8 at Durham.
Mrs. L.J. Franz was in Topeka on Tuesday as guest of honor at the Governor's Merit Mother's luncheon. Mrs. P.G. Jost and Mrs. A.R. Ebel accompanied her.
