Dalmer Kaufman of Durham was re-elected chairman of the USD 410 Board of Education. Marvin Ratzlaff of rural Hillsboro was elected vice-chairman.

Sharolyn Flaming of Hillsboro will compete in the 1977 Junior Miss contest at Herington Elementary School July 19 and 20. She is one of 17 contestants.

Roy Kliewer of Hillsboro, Junior Holstein Boy, attended the Kansas Holstein Association Youth Tour July 6 through 9. The tour began at Kansas State University in Manhattan.

Norman Ensz of Hillsboro is among 17 Greeley Gas Company employees to be recognized at the company's annual award dinner. Ensz was recognized for 12 years of continued service.

Annette Richert has accepted a position in general office and accounting for J. Lynch & Co. Richert graduated from Brown Mackie College in Salina in the general business program.

A 1976 graduate of Hillsboro High School, she is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Richert of Durham.

Marion County took second the annual southeast Kansas dairy judging contest at Iola. Marion County had four individuals in the top ten. They were Kevin Pankratz, fifth; Ron Wineinger, seventh; Sandy Funk, eight; and Lynn Schmidt, ninth.
