Eldon Pankratz of Hillsboro, acting president of the Marion County Fair Association, was elected president of the association at the regular board of directors meeting Tuesday noon at the Guest House.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Enns will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary Sunday, Aug. 7, with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. in their home. Hosting the open house will be their children, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Enns of Newton and Christine and Richard of Hillsboro.

A non-profit shop which supports the worldwide relief program of the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) will hold its opening in Hillsboro Sept. 1 through Sept. 3. The Et Cetera Shop will be open for three days every week.

It will be located at 121 S. Main in the Trail Lanes Bowling building. Kaethe K. Warkentin is manager-coordinator for the shop.

The Rev. and Mrs. David Breese of Hillsboro announce the engagement of their daughter, Lynn, to David Seligh, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Richard Seligh of Wichita.

Charles Horn, former head of the department of education at Tabor College, began work Aug. 1 as education director for the Kansas Association of Realtors in Topeka.
