The USD 410 Board of Education will meet April 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the central office. On the agenda is the decision on the sale of the Durham school facility. The sale date has been set for May 31, but the decision relating to particulars of the sale has not been made.

Women's spring bowling tournament winners were: First place team, Mona Voth, Louise Rahe, Sharon James, Gladys Buller, Rhonda Donahue and Rita Brennan. First place in all events was Evelyn Sandwell, and Nancy Martens took first place in singles.

Melanie Mayfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Mayfield, Durham, is attending Hutchinson Community College and majoring in the secretarial science program. Melanie attended Hillsboro High School.

Wendell Funk took first place in second flight singles and Loren Loewen claimed second in first flight singles, but the Hillsboro High School tennis team could manage only third place in the Hillsboro Quadrangular tennis meet Tuesday afternoon.

Jim Hefley has assumed the position of assistant manager at Tip Top Credit Union in Hillsboro.
