USD 410 central office will be moved to the junior high school building as soon as physical arrangements for the move can be completed. The move will allow Superintendent Robert Brown to be closer to his duties as junior high school principal

A miscellaneous bridal shower was given to honor Karen Regehr Sunday afternoon, Sept. 10, in the home of Janet Duerksen of Lehigh. Ellen Bartel of Newton was co-hostess. Karen is the bride-elect of Richard Aldis.

Recent guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Bartel were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Erhardt of Hooker, Okla.

A son, Eric Neal, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Kirby Rector Sept. 4. He weighed 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Grandparents are Mrs. Joan Lovelady of Hiawatha, Gilbert Rector of Arcadia, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miller of Durham.

Members of the Hillsboro High School girls' tennis team include Melanie Kessler, Donna Funk, Kay Bartel, Denise Feil, Bev Reimer, Denise Funk, Dawn Lohrenz, Carla Jost, Carmen Schmidt, Joni Ensz, Marcia Reimer, Lynn Isaac, Shelley Helmer, and Krista Pankratz. The coach is Brenda Dinsmore.

Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Menno Harder were Mr. and Mrs. Abe Penner of Corn, Okla., and Mr. and Mrs. Levi Suderman and Dan Suderman.

Hillsboro High School's FFA County Collective Booth won second place in Central Division at the 1978 Kansas State Fair. Truman Diener is sponsor of FFA.

Winner in the Hillsboro Women's Golf Club tournament was medalist Janice Goertz with an 84.
