Judges from the state PRIDE committee sized up Hillsboro this past Wednesday in a meeting with Hillsboro's PRIDE officials. The judges often commented on how "impressed" they were with the amount of work done by PRIDE and the quality of the scrapbook which keeps track of all the projects done to improve Hillsboro. Youth involvement was one of the topics presented to the judges. The committee told them about the baby-sitting clinics, fund drives, cleanup week, construction of the PRIDE float, and hospital visits by youth.
