An enrollment of more than 200 students was assured during the past week when 185 students enrolled during the regular registration period. Late students coming from Canada, Switzerland and surround states should put the enrollment figure beyond 200.
Lloyd Klassen is enrolled at Bethel college.
The Hillsboro High School football season will get under way Friday night when the Trojans meet the Buhler Crusaders on the local field. Coach Jack Sharp and his assistants Elmer Buhler and Arthur Baltzer have been working hard to get the team ready.
Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Unruh moved from 413 S. Birch to 404 S. Cedar. Mr. and Mrs. Delton Hein will move into the house vacated by the Unruhs.
Gary Herbel left Saturday for Wichita where he will attend Wichita University this fall.
Mrs. Levi Buller spent Monday in Herington with her sister Mrs. Roy Bateman.
Mr. and Mrs. Dave Toews and family were Sunday dinner and luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Funk.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Penner came home Friday evening from a three week vacation in Minnesota. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Scharping returned home Saturday morning.
On Sunday, Sept. 6, Mr. and Mrs. Pete A. Ratzlaff of Hillsboro held open house to celebrate their golden wedding anniversary. They were married in Hillsboro on Sept. 9, 1903.
