Miss Agnes Dalke is employed as clerk at the Ben Franklin Store.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bartel and Oren returned Saturday morning from Los Angeles, Calif., where they spent a few days with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Bartel of Kansas City spent Sunday with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert K. Friesen and children spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A.A. Thieszen of Henderson, Neb. Miss Mary Kliewer returned home with them.

Mrs. Ella Warkentin moved from 115 N. Washington to the Vogt apartment of 123 East Grand Thursday.

Miss Janet Regier, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman J. Regier, and a student at Wichita University, has been chosen as a member of the 100 piece Shocker marching band. The band is sporting new West Point type uniforms and make a very fine appearance. Miss Reiger plays saxophone.

Mr. and Mrs. Homer Gibson and Billy were Thursday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Funk and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Sam Funk and Elsie returned Tuesday morning from Texas where they had gone to attend a wedding.

Ruth Wohlgemuth, who is in nurses training at Wesley Hospital, spent the weekend with her family Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wohlgemuth and Kay.
