After its most successful season to date, Tabor College football team placed four members on NAIA All-American teams.

At 9-2, including 8-1 in the KCAC to claim its first ever league title, the Bluejays earned a spot in the NAIA post-season tournament.

The team was defeated by #1 ranked Sioux Falls in the first round, but still managed to catch the eye of All-American voters.

Sophomore Grant Myers (6'1", 280) earned third-team honors for his job anchoring the Bluejay offensive line.

The man Myers helped protect, sophomore quarterback Ricky Ishida, was awarded for his play by being named to the honorable mention team. Ishida threw for 2,114 yards and 13 touchdowns.

On the defensive side of the ball, junior linebacker Jake Schenk and senior safety C.J. Hill joined Ishida on the honorable mention team.

Schenk led the team with 82 tackles and finished second on the team in sacks.

Hill, a fifth-year senior, led Tabor with four interceptions, and helped anchor a defense which held opponents to 187 yards per game.
