4-H club wins first in float competition
The Sunday evening service for Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church will feature a marionette play performed by the Goessel Goal Getters 4-H Club Goat Project Group. The play, written by one of the group's leaders, Carmelita Goossen, tells the story of a family receiving a goat through Heifer Project International.
The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. with an ice cream social following the presentation. Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church is located one mile north of Goessel on K-15 Highway. The public is invited.
