Peter D. Ens, M.D. of Kansas City will be associated with A.C. Eitzen, M.D., beginning the first of June. Dr. Ens is well known in the community. His wife is the former Irma Richert, daughter of Mrs. P.W. Richert.

Sgt. Louis Hagen arrived home Saturday and will visit until May 30 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hagen. Louis has been in the service for almost two years and has been in Korea for more than a year. He has been assigned to Camp Pendleton at Oceanside, Calif.

The Hillsboro Chamber of commerce is sponsoring a group trip to Abilene June 4 for the homecoming ceremony of Ike Eisenhower.

Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Plenert are opening up a new cafe in the new Dalke building at the east edge of town south of the highway. The café will be called Truck Stop until a suitable name can be suggested by the public.

Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Unruh and children were guests of Dr. and Mrs. W.A. Penner in Newton Tuesday evening.

Mrs. A.C. Eitzen and Esther went to Kansas City, Mo., Friday to spend the weekend with her mother, Mrs. M.D. Campbell and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Orville Jost drove to Kansas City Sunday to spend the day.

Dr. George H. Duerksen has accepted a position in the personnel department of Phillips Petroleum Co., at Bartlesville, Okla. Dr. Duerksen formerly held this position until two years ago when he resigned to each chemistry in Tabor College.
