Mrs. Frances Cumpton spent from Wednesday until Sunday with friends in Newton.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Funk visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Plenert in Lehigh Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Nickel have changed their address from 108 S. Adams to 116 N. Madison.

Hillsboro High School's Trojans closed their regular season's schedule with a loss as they bowed before the Planeview Gremlins of Wichita 45-55 in the local gym Feb. 23. Andy Friesen scored 22 points for HHS. The B-team won their 15th straight game, defeating the Gremlins 58-54. Paul Rice scored 25 points.
Mr. and Mrs. Emice Hein, Mike and Kenny were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Penner and son at Inman.
Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Jake Bartel and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Michaels drove to Lincolnville to attend the Marion County mail carriers meeting. The women attended the women's auxiliary meeting.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ebel left Monday for Kansas City to do some marketing and visit their son, Robert, and wife.
