The members of the Tabor College Faculty Wives Fellowship presented a bathinette to Mrs. Roy Just at a cradle shower held Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. S.L. Loewen.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddison Schmidt and sons were Sunday dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Knak and family.
Mr. Aryls Hagen, son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Hagen, and Mr. Donovan Janzen, son of Mr. Frank Janzen, have both been notified that their applications for the army band have been acted upon favorably. Both men are stationed at Fort Riley for their basic training.
"Silas Marner" is the play the senior class will present April 22 and 23. Tryouts for the 16-member cast were open the latter part of last week to all seniors who were interested.
A crowd of several hundred worshipers attended the ceremonies at which the cornerstone of the new Lutheran Church was laid last Sunday. Construction of the new all concrete and stone building has been in progress only since last September.
