Mr. and Mrs. Ben Penner and Janice arrived in Hillsboro Monday after spending several months in Woodlawn, Calif.
Miss Irene Penner and Miss Esther Bartel spent Saturday and Sunday at their homes in Hillsboro after attending State Teachers' meetings in Salina. Both teach in Meade.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Heinrichs and children were guests of Mr. And Mrs. Albert Schroeder and Lavern for a pheasant dinner Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Unruh and Jimmie have moved into their recently purchased home at 611 S. Lincoln. Mr. Unruh is employed by the city of Hillsboro.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Ebel spent the weekend in Kansas City on business and also visited their son Carl and family at Lawrence.
Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hiebert and Marilyn and Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Siemens spent Sunday in Lawrence with Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Janzen and girls.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Klassen of Topeka were in Hillsboro last weekend visiting their parents and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Scharping left today for Kansas City to spend several days with their daughter and family.
