Hillsboro Hospital has been selected as one of the first hospitals in Kansas to be studied by the University of Kansas Bureau of Government in a statewide nursing function study sponsored by the Kansas State Nurses' Association in cooperation with the Kansas State Hospital Association. The study will cover the activities of the nurses in the small Kansas hospital.

Mr. And Mrs. Henry K. Willems spent Monday afternoon in Inman where they visited Mr. And Mrs. Aaron Willems and family. Mr. And Mrs. Abe Willems and family and Mrs. Mary Johnen and family.

A wiener roast was held at the C.C. Friesen home Monday evening honoring Miss Dena Yoder on her birthday. Those who were present were Verna and Alice funk, Linda and Evelyn Friesen, Harriet Amstutz, Wilma and Marietta Friesen and the honored guest. The evening was spent playing various games.

Mr. And Mrs. Orville Kliewer have purchased the property at 401 S. Ash from Mr. Oswin Mouttet and moved into their home Monday of this week.

The Marion County Press Assn. Met for dinner at the home of Mr. And Mrs. L.W. Neel in Burns Saturday evening, After dinner the editors discussed business affairs. Those present were Mr. And Mrs. George Clasen of Florence; Mr. And Mrs. Wharton Hoch, Mr. And Mrs. Wallis Hoch, Mrs. Jerry Millikin of Marion; Mrs. Earl Fickertt of Peabody and Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Ashcraft of Hillsboro.
