Negotiations are in process for the change of ownership in the Cornelson Motor Co., in Hillsboro from H. H. Cornelson and Raymond Cornelson to Albert Reimer of Dodge City, Kansas.

An audience of 700 attended the three-act play, "The Little Minister," presented by the Junior Class of Tabor College on February 25 in the Tabor auditorium. The play was under the direction of Prof. Wesley Prieb and student director, David Karber, junior from California.

Mr. P. H. Berg, former editor of the Hillsboro Journal and associated with the M. B. Publishing House for many years until his retirement last January, has assumed the temporary managership of the M. B. Book Store, formerly held by Mr. J. J. Gerbrandt.

Miss Annettie Ewert, of Hillsboro, is enrolled in Venus Beauty Academy, Wichita. Last week Miss Ewert entered a child model, Francis Sutherland, in a hair style show for tiny tots. Her model was chosen to appear on a television program Friday afternoon.

Army M-Sgt Waldo Goertz, whose stepmother, Mrs. Anna Goertz, lives in Hillsboro, recently arrived at Fort Lewis, Wash., and is now a member of the 34th Engineer Battalion. Sergeant Goertz, intelligence non-commissioned officer in the battalion, entered the Army in 1942. He has served in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.

Hillsboro High School came home from the one-act play festival in Council Grove Thursday, Feb. 24, with a rating of "Highly Superior," for their entry "Riders of the Sea." Portraying characters in the tragedy of the sea were Beth Dalke, Carolee Balzer, Bonnie Harder, Paul Pankratz, Dorothy Ewert, Frances Dahl, Barbara Funk, Norma Unruh, Elizabeth Hiebert, Laurene Reimer, Marvin Friesen and Ronnie Ewert. The play was under the direction of Miss Melinda Penner.
