Gwydotta Herbel, the year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Herbel, had the misfortune of scalding her right arm and the right side of her face last Wednesday morning. Gwydotta started to fall and grabbed the cord of the electric coffee maker, pulling the coffee maker off the cabinet and spilling hot coffee on her. She was take to Salem Hospital for medical care, and her condition is as good as can be expected.

Mrs. Don Reimer is making her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thresher, while Don is serving overseas.

Rev. and Mrs. J.B. Toews and family were Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sol Seibel and family.

T-Sgt D.L. Grayson left Wednesday morning for San Antonio, Texas, after spending the past week with Mr. and Mrs. E.N. Watts.

Kenny and Randy Schmidt, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Schmidt, of Salina are spending a few weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan S. Schmidt.

Raymond Willems who recently returned from Korea arrived home Saturday to spend a two weeks leave with Mr. and Mrs. Henry K. Willems and family.

Sunday evening dinner guests at the Henry Hafermehl home were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hett, Irene Hett, Oscar, Gertrude, Lucy and Frieda Hett, and Eva Weinmeister.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Abrahams and Beverly and Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Unruh and family were Monday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Leppke and Carlotta.

Mr. and Mrs. Levi Unruh have moved from 302 S. Birch to 411 South Third in Marion.
