Santa Claus will be back in Hillsboro next Saturday afternoon and will hand out treats to boys and girls on the street. The Kiwanis Club will let all grade school children roller skate free of charge from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the fair building.

The Ediger family met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. S.L. Lowen Sunday for a potluck Christmas supper. Guests were present from Buhler, Wichita, and Hillsboro. About 50 people enjoyed the bountiful meal together.

Rita Haury of Wichita visited her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Plenert Friday and Saturday. Kenneth Plenert took her home Saturday evening.

Mrs. Christina Schafer, Miss Sarah Klassen and Mrs. J.H. Miller were in Newton Tuesday.

The "heighty" Hillsboro Trojans downed the Hope Lions, defending league champions, in a hot and furious ball game on the local court by a score of 50-44. The game was marked with 50 personal fouls and four players left the game via the foul route. Kenny Ollek led the Trojans with 13 points.

Mr. and Mrs. Jesse H. Friesen, Orval, Norman, Andy, and Arlene were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Friesen. Other guests for the day were Mr. and Mrs. William Johnson and family, Faith Foth and Rodney Kornelsen, and Ruth and Allen Richert.

The members of the Mom's H.D.U. had its annual Christmas dinner party at the home of Mrs. J.E. Rempel Dec. 9. The husbands of the unit members were the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. George Boothe were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Boothe and family in Lehigh. The dinner was in honor of Reg Boothe's birthday.
