Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hein attended funeral services Friday for their former pastor Rev. Ruth Williams in Salina.
Betty Meier and Carol Ollenburger of Hillsboro accompanied Connie Wiens of Durham on Friday evening and Saturday to the Southwestern Conference Baptist Women's Retreat in Kansas City. They were Friday overnight guests of Pastor Milton and Alice Zeeb while attending the retreat.
Marcella Unruh of Durham and Elma Klein of Hillsboro were Tuesday dinner guests of Pearl Koch.
Verden and Pauline Harms were weekend guests of their daughter Gail King in Overland Park. They visited other family while there and celebrated the birthdays of two great- grandchildren, Megan and Jordon Smith.
Jane Zeok from California and Dianne Jantzen from Idaho were Friday house guests of Darlene Unruh. They stayed until Wednesday with Darlene. They came for their mother's, Pearl Janzen, funeral.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hanneman were in Wichita Monday and visited their daughter Gloria Hanneman and their son and his wife, Delbert and Becky Hanneman, in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Orval Suderman were among others from Hillsboro who attended the wedding Saturday of Monty Beisel and Amanda Carrawan at the St. John's United Methodist Church in Kansas City.
Last Saturday Edie and Dean Ollenburger attended the wedding of Wade Fleming and Jamie Southards at Lakeside Park in McPherson. Wade is the grandson of the late Verla Stegeman originally of Hillsboro.
On Saturday, April 20, the Ollenburgers attended the 90th birthday open house for George White at Marquette.
On April 13, Celia Gross accompanied Allen and Mary Regier to the MCC Sale in Nebraska. Celia met her sister, Ida Gross, from Sioux Falls, S. D., there, and Ida returned to Hillsboro with Celia. She spent two weeks as Celia's house guest.
Celia Gross, Mary Regier, Donna Bagley, Anita Boese, and Mildred Karnowski, all of Hillsboro, spent the weekend attending the State Delta Kappa Gamma Convention at Hutchinson.
