A week ago Sunday, Duane and Shirley Hamm were supper and birthday party guests at the home of Greg and Charlene Thiesses in McPherson to celebrate Whitney's seventh birthday.
On Saturday, they were dinner guests at Albert and Janet Christensen in Wichita and in the afternoon, they attended the all-star football game in which their grandson, Austin Hamm, was one of the players. Austin's team won, so they will be playing in Kansas City.
