Round the Town: Cabeen joins motorcycle tour

Last weekend, Norma Cabeen joined a motorcycle tour group. They went to Noel, Mo., and parts of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Liz Lancaster and Kevin Kuhlman were united in marriage on Aug. 14 at the Durham Baptist Church with Dr. Lloyd Harsch from New Orleans, a former pastor, officiating at their wedding. Among the guests were the grandparents, Don and Marilyn Kuhlman from St. Louis, Mo., and George and Lucille Lancaster from Kansas City. Many family and friends form Kansas City and St. Louis were among local people present. The reception and dinner was held at Best Western in McPherson. The newlyweds are making their home in St. Louis, where they are both employed. Liz is the daughter of Dave and Mary Lancaster of Hillsboro.
Malvin and Darlene Schmidt recently attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor honoring their nephew's son, Steven Heidebrecht, and two boys, Javan Koehn and James O'Brien, at Inman.
On Sunday, the Schmidts were dinner guests in McPherson of their son, Jerry Schmidt, from Salina.
Madison Tishhauser form White City spent several days before school started with her grandparents, Wilbur and Florence Hett. Madison is the daughter of Chad and Stacey Tishhauser.
Kim Miller and his son, Ryan, from Battle Ground, Wash., spent from Monday to Wednesday with Kim's parents, Duwane and Jane Miller.
