'Round The Town: Family members celebrate Tim Diener's birthday

Lowell and Eleanor Jost and family had dinner Sunday with the Charles Siebert family at Great Bend.
Weekend guests at the home of Alma and Clara Toews were Clarence and Betty Penner from South Dakota. The Penners came especially for their uncle Henry W. Penner's 100th birthday. Henry is formerly from Hillsboro but now resides in Moundridge. Clara and Alma Toews also attended the birthday observance.
The family had a picnic on Sunday at the park. Those attending were Clara and Alma Toews, Verna and Carol Ens, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ensz, and Lois, all of Hillsboro. Also attending the picnic were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Penner from South Dakota, Zelda Toews and sons, and Arlin and Verlin Penner from Moundridge, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Penner and family from Maine, and Danny and Rose Giesbrecht from Manitoba, Canada.
Darlene Unruh and Deliah Deckert visited Elmer Decker and Elva and Francis Decker on Wednesday at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Guests at the Paul Pankratzes Sunday evening for homemade ice cream and cake were Tim and Donna Diener, Emily and Marissa of Hillsboro, Kent Nichols from Eureka, and Ken Pankratz from Durham. They celebrated Tim's Aug. 3 birthday.
