Round the Town: Father s Day guests noted

On Friday evening Virgil and Jean Oblander attended the wedding of Kira Schoen and Thomas Greshan at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wichita. On Sunday the Oblanders visited Al Hiebert in Newton.
On Sunday Clara and Alma Toews joined their family for a dinner at the home of Galen and Theresa Ensz, rural Hillsboro. Other family there were Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Ensz and Lois; Verna Ensz and the Larry Ensz family, all of Hillsboro.
Father's Day dinner guests at the Leonard Heins were Kevin and Vickie Hein and family of rural Durham and Todd and Jayleen Hein of rural Tampa.
On Father's Day Bill and Betty Meier were guests of Socco and Willabeth Gonzales of Newton for dinner out in Wichita.
Dirk Lancaster spent Father's Day with his parents, Dave and Mary Lancaster, for lunch and home made ice cream.
Bernice McDowell spent a week with Brian and Shirley Lewis in Wichita. While there she visited her sister and husband, Hankie and Bill Thomas, and other family and relatives.
Norman and Dot Ens spent Father's Day with their daughter and family, Joni and Terry Ens, Stephanie and Staci in Wichita. They attended First M.B. Church with them and were their dinner guests. Additional guests were Nancy Ens, Gordon and Chris Ens and Mike, all of Wichita, and Randy Ensz of Hillsboro.
Duane and Shirley Hamm, accompanied by Norma Ballard of Topeka, went to a brothers and sisters family reunion over the weekend at the Salt Plains State Park at Jet, Oklahoma. All seven brothers and sisters were present.
Kelly Clark, foster daughter of the Myron Hamms, was honored with a ninth year birthday party at "Three Sisters" in Canton. Joining her at the party were Valorie Hamm, Madison Hamm, Duane and Shirley Hamm, Whitney Thiessen of McPherson, Emily Jost and Darcy Heinrichs of Hillsboro.
Recent visitors at the home of Paul and Elaine Jantzen were Richard Jantzen from Topeka and his daughter Laren Zueg from Delano, Minn., and Bob and Ruth Unruh from Hutchinson.
