Round the Town: Labor Day guests reported

Tim, Donna, and Marissa Diener and Paul and Arlene Pankratz of Hillsboro, Ken Pankratz of Durham, and Kent and Emily Nichol of Hesston were Labor Day dinner guests at the home of David and Sherilyn Kadel of rural Randall.
Carrol and Carolyn Koch from Emporia brought dinner to the home of Pearl Koch and they enjoyed it together. Additional visitors later in the day were Charles and Ruth Heiser of Ramona.
Elgin and Rubena Bartel and Milford and Janelle Klaassen and family of Hillsboro and Ron and Loretta Paxton and Michele Pierson and boys of Wichita enjoyed a picnic Sunday evening at the Hillsboro park.
Lavella Kilpatrick and sons, David and Joseph from Kansas City were Labor Day weekend guests at the home of Irene Seibel.
Durham Baptist Kings' Daughters met Thursday evening for their September meeting. Twenty-three attended. Those from Hillsboro were Kay Carlson, Doris David, Donna Diener, Shirley Hamm, Marcella Mohn, Lois Nuss, Sheila Nuss, Carol Ollenburger, Arlene Pankratz, Frances Unruh, and Connie Wiens. Ruth Hamm brought the lesson on Mary and Martha.
