Round the town: Oblanders enjoy guests from Missouri

Georgie Medley of Liberty, Mo., was a weekend guest of Virgil Oblander. Matt and Nichole Medley of Liberty, Mo., Jane Otis of Goddard, and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Oblander and Harley of Park City also were visitors during the weekend.
The MCC committee of the Mennonite Brethren church hosted a Sunday noon fellowship meal. It was held at the school commons area with approximately 150 guests in attendance. Gladys Jantz and daughter of Newton attended.
Herb, Trudy, and Andrew Pankratz of Abilene were Saturday dinner guests of the Paul Pankratzes. Loretta and Julie Seibel of Ketchi visited in the afternoon. Julie participated in the piano contest at Tabor College.
Duane and Shirley Hamm visited Friday with Albert, Sarah, and Andrew Christensen at Bel Aire. The Hamms went Saturday to visit Shirley's brother, Merle Gates at the Pratt hospital.
Justin Hamm of Spring Hill spent spring break with his grandparents, Duane and Shirley Hamm.
Alma and Clara Toews were Friday supper guests of Jonas and Myrtle Giesbrecht of rural Hillsboro. Orlin and Annabelle Becker, Nellie and LeeAnn Penner, and Nellie's sister Adina Isaac of Manitoba also were guests. Clara and Alma joined a group of women for Saturday supper at Evelyn Koehn's home at Moundridge.
Larry and Bonnie Winter of Silver Lake brought dinner Saturday to the Edwin Winters. Larry and Bonnie were Friday overnight guests at the Gaylord Hamms at Durham.
Mary Helen Becker, Pauline Greenhaw, and Pearl Koch had Monday lunch together at Marion.
