Roundtown: Sudermans, Schmidts enjoy cousins reunion

Art and Harriet Suderman and Malvin and Darlene Schmidt went Friday to Inman Community Center at Inman for a Klaassen-Ensz cousins' reunion. Their cousin Irene Sullivan of Knoxville, Tenn., was a special guest. The Sudermans and Schmidts went Sunday to Swiss Mennonite Church at Whitewater for the 60th wedding anniversary of their cousins, the Rev. Arnold and Elma Ensz.
Darlene Schmidt's brother, Dayle Klassen of Pittsburg visited Monday at the home of Malvin and Darlene.
Bill and Betty Meier returned this past week from a month's visit with their daughter and husband, Julie and Oscar Arquello at Costa Rica. They had an enjoyable time and beautiful weather.
Visitors at the Paul Pankratz home the past week were Gus and Mildred Hamm of Tampa, Gaylord and Valera Hamm of Durham, Elmer and Dorothy Seibel and Jay and Luella Burkhart of Newton, and Oliver and Marcella Mohn of Hillsboro.
Verna Decker, former long-time resident of Durham area, from Sidney, Mont., has been visiting at the homes of the Kathy Decker and Delilah Deckert and other family in the surrounding area. The community had a get-together Wednesday for her at the senior center at Durham.
Carol Ollenburger spent time with their daughter and family, Frank and Jeannie Flores and boys at Wichita.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Voth from Fresno, Calif., were Thursday breakfast guests at the Orville Suderman home.
Alma and Clara Toews were Sunday evening guests at the home of Ron and Paula Toews, rural Hillsboro. On Monday they were supper guests at the home of Verna and Carol Ensz in Hillsboro.
