Accidents
The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:
Cheryl J. Ray, 59, 113 Eisenhower, Marion, was eastbound on 190th at Quail Creek at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 30. Audra L. Jones, 22, 1828 Quail Creek, Marion, was westbound, attempting a left-hand turn onto Quail Creek. Ray's 2002 Ford Taurus struck Jones' 1999 Jeep Cherokee. Deputy Josh Whitwell states neither driver was injured.
At 4 p.m. Feb. 5, a 1990 Ford Escort driven by Allison N. Meador, 17, 2068 Sunflower, Marion, was westbound in the parking lot at Marion High School, 701 E. Main Street, Marion, when it struck a 1995 Honda Passport driven by Erin C. Carr, 16, 601 S. Fourth Street, Marion, who was stopped. The Escort was owned by Stuart Meador and the Passport was owned by Pat Carr. There were no injuries or damage estimates, reported Marion Police Officer Howard Kahler.
