Accidents reported

The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Dusty Dewayne Fulk, 47, Ness City, was westbound on U.S.-56 in a 1995 GMC pickup at 7:25 p.m. Oct. 28, when two deer entered the roadway from a south ditch. The driver was able to avoid one deer but struck the second. Geraldine Fulk, 40, of the same address, was a passenger. Marion County Sheriff Deputy Josh Whitwell reported there were no injuries. No damage estimate was listed.

Christopher J. Stroda, 42, Lindsborg, was eastbound on 330th Road in a 1994 Ford F-150 pickup at 6 p.m. Nov. 2, when a deer entered the roadway from the south and was struck. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Deputy Whitwell.

Joseph E. Box, 27, 423 W. Sixth Street, Florence, was southbound on K-15 near 190th Road in a 2004 Ford Focus at 6:15 a.m. Nov. 3, when a deer came out of an east ditch and was struck. Deputy Duane McCarty reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.

Eric M. Reichenberger, 20, Hope, was westbound on U.S.-56 in a 2003 Dodge Stratus at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 3, when a deer came from a south ditch and was struck on the roadway. There were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages, reported Undersheriff Randal Brazil.

Brian R. Owens, 44, 414 Lombard, Lincolnville, was northbound on Limestone Road in a 1996 Plymouth Breeze at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 4, when a black cow standing in the roadway was struck. Undersheriff Brazil reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.
