Alexanderwohl church secures Hershberger
Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, has secured the ministry of Michele Hershberger for the weekend of Feb. 16 and 17. Hershberger is a Bible professor at Hesston College, the author of A Christian View of Hospitality and Responding to God, and has served by writing and directing her plays at several recent church wide youth conventions. She will focus on God's hospitality and welcoming of all people.
Hershberger has served the broader church as pastor, writer, speaker and instructor. She has a masters of theological studies in Bible at Associated Biblical Seminary and worked as project associate for The Giving Project.
The first session will be at 7 p.m. Saturday. This session is for youth on "Finding God in All the Wrong Places." The second session, "Four Biblical Principles of Hospitality" will take place at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. There will be a second session, "Jesus at the Door," at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday. The last session will be Sunday at 7:00 p.m., "Expecting Surprises." The public is invited to attend. A nursery will be provided.
