Alfred Voth
Alfred H. Voth, 88, of Hesston, died July 26, 2007, at Via Christi Medical Center, St. Francis campus, Wichita.
Born Feb. 11, 1919, at Goessel, he was the son of Henry and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Voth.
On April 2, 1943, he married Rosella "Rosie" Funk at Hillsboro.
He was a former service station owner/operator. He was a member of Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie of Hesston; four sons, Richard Voth of Tulsa, Okla., Kenneth Voth of South Bend, Ind., Dennis Voth of Hesston, and Gerald Voth of Walton; daughter, Diana Hull of Goodyear, Ariz.; brother, Ernie Voth of Buffalo, Mills, Pa.; three sisters, Marna Abrahams of Goessel, Norma Martenez of Payson, Ariz., and Lila Harris of Newton; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was Monday morning at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, with Pastor Corey Miller officiating.
A memorial fund has been established with the Mennonite Disaster Service.
