Ammeter news: Many visitors this past week keep writer busy

Sandy Fritz was a Wednesday afternoon visitor at Ladies Aid. Others attending were Sherry Nightengale, Dorene Kirkpatrick, and Maude Gaines.
Maude Gaines and LaVonne were in Marion Thursday for doctors' appointments and on Friday visited Ike and Marie Clark. Bill and Marie Clark and Gordon and Joan Clark of El Dorado also were visitors.
Michele Boise and Dylan visited LaVonne Friday evening. Blaine Ammeter of Ellinwood arrived to spend the weekend.
Blaine and Stan were Saturday dinner guests. Later Myron and Sally Ammeter of Grand Island, Neb., came from Junction City to spend the night. They had been to Angela, Chad, and Mitchel Bunger's, taking care of Mitchel. Angela has been sick with mononucleosis. She is better at this writing.
Myron and Sally went Sunday morning to spend the day with Opal Craney before going back to Nebraska.
We had church services Sunday morning at Summit. Blaine and Gary Davis of Newton were dinner guests of LaVonne. Blaine left for Ellinwood late afternoon.
Maude and LaVonne visited Elsie Tittle Sunday afternoon in Florence.
Maude and LaVonne visited aunt Leona Widler Monday afternoon at Legacy Park.
Michele Montgomery visited LaVonne Tuesday evening.
Sure was a nice rain Friday night. It washed the dust off of things.
