ANNIVERSARIES: Alden and Irma Schroeder
Alden and Irma Schroeder will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 1, 2002, in the fellowship hall of Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in rural Goessel. There will be a brief program at 2:30 p.m.
Alden J. Schroeder and Irma Voth were married Sept. 12, 1952, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church.
They are both retired now and live in Goessel but were former residents of the rural Canton area. He is a life long farmer in McPherson County. She was previously employed at Alliance Agency in McPherson.
The event will be hosted by their children and grandchildren: Doug and Pam Schroeder and children of Olathe, Phil and Diane Bostian and children of rural Goddard, Rodney Schroeder of rural Canton, Randy and Lynnette Schroeder and children of Somers Point, N.J.
