Anniversary: Banman
Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Banman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were honored with a surprise dinner by their children Rhonda, Jan, and Donald. The couple have two grandchildren.
They were married Sept. 5, 1952, at Highland Evangelical and Reformed Church. They moved from Goessel to Mount Vernon, Texas, in January of 1968.
He continues to manufacture upholstered furniture and enjoys gardening. She was a school nurse for 16 years in Mount Vernon.
