Annual Tabor Tool Time starts Friday
Musical ministry group 'Crosswise'
to perform during two-day event
Tabor College staff, faculty, alumni and friends will gather on Friday and Saturday to improve the campus for the upcoming school year during the seventh- annual Tool Time.
Projects will include tree and bush trimming, interior and exterior painting, concrete work and cleaning. A sprinkler system will also be installed on the soccer practice field. Work is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.
A performance by CrossWise, Tabor's music ministry group, will be given at 7 p.m. Friday in the Wohlgemuth Music Education Center Rehearsal Hall. Although the performance takes place during Tool Time, the public is invited to attend.
CrossWise has spent the summer traveling and performing in various churches and camps throughout the Midwest. The group consists of six Tabor students who aim to develop relationships with pre-college students and encourage them to grow in their spiritual lives.
CrossWise is led by Daryle Baltzer, director of student counseling. CrossWise members include: Chas Goering, Moundridge; Daneen Landis, Abilene; Angela Nelson, Marysville; Jonathan Regier, Hillsboro; Elizabeth Splitter, Lorraine; and Brian Wahl, Fairview, Okla.
