Area schools to hold commencement exercises
Tabor College and area high schools will conduct commencement exercises this weekend.
Ceremonies for the class of 2006 of Tabor College will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with a performance by the band. Commencement will follow at 10 a.m. in the gymnasium.
Twenty-seven graduates of Goessel High School will participate in commencement exercises at 7 p.m. at the GHS gymnasium. Guest speaker will be Justin Schrag, GHS agriculture teacher.
On Sunday, Hillsboro High School will hold commencement at 2 p.m. at Robert C. Brown Gymnasium on the school campus.
A casual reception will follow in the commons area.
Centre High School's commencement ceremonies also will begin at 2 p.m. at the school's gymnasium.
Graduation ceremonies for Marion High School will be at 4 p.m. at the high school gymnasium.
