Kim and Delora Kaufman and Tom and Sherry Kaufman and girls of Hillsboro attended a retirement party Friday evening for Janice Kaufman of Durham at the Kem Chisholm's near Durham. Others there were Delmar Kaufman, Tim and Debbie Kaufman and girls of Durham and Gary and Becky Evans and Katie of Marion.
On Friday Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Winter and Ron Freeman of Hillsboro attended the Senior Citizens of Marion County Inc. board meeting at the Tampa Sunflower Senior Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Winter and Evelyn Schmidt attended the all day North Central MCFH Area Agency Aging Board meeting at Marion on Tuesday.
Paul and Arlene Pankratz accompanied David and Sherilyn Kadel of Randall to Denver, Colo., over the weekend where they visited the Pankratzes' granddaughter and her husband Jennifer and Jeff Price at Arvada, Colo. En route home on Monday, the Pankratzes' called on Alice Kadel at Jamestown.
Betty Bernhardt spent two and a half weeks in Florida visiting her son Ken Bernhardt at St. Petersburg. Highlights of her trip were visiting the Strawberry Festival at Plant City, Fla., and the Sponge Docks at Tarpon Springs, Fla.
Adam Yauk from Ft. Collins, Colo. was a house guest of his grandmother, Martha Yauk. While here he also visited Don and Phyllis Elston in Wichita.
