Leonard and Hazel Hein of rural Hillsboro hosted a dinner Sunday to celebrate a birthday and Easter. Guests were Kevin and Vicki Hein and family of Hillsboro, Steph Jensen of Marion, Monica Hein and Ryan Walton of Wichita, Tony and Brandi Hein of Baldwin City, and Todd Hein of Tampa. They celebrated the birthdays of Hazel, Monica Hein, Ryan Walton, and Andrew Hein.
Wayne and Carol Ollenburger's grandchildren Tyler, Austin, and Jordon Flores from Wichita were Saturday overnight guests of their grandparents. Wayne and Carol took them home Sunday afternoon and attended Tyler's soccer game.
Mr. and Mrs. Malvin Schmidt were recent overnight guests of their daughter Malvina Schmidt and family at Tulsa, Okla. They attended the band concert at Broken Arrow school. Their grandson, Eric Heinrichs, is one of the band members.
Sherry Cole from Phillipsburg was a weekend house guest of her mother, Irene Frantz.
Asher, Rueven, and Judah Isaac from Wichita spent their spring break from school with their grandparents, Don and Connie Isaac in Hillsboro.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Mohn and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Mohn were Easter weekend guests of Bob and Karen Haug and family in Jetmore.
Irene Novak of Hillsboro joined other family for Easter at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Gene and Judy Stika in Lincolnville.
Bill and Betty Meier were Easter dinner guests of Sacarra and Willabeth Gonzalez and Laura in Newton.
Easter dinner guests at the home of Paul and Arlene Pankratz were the Tim Diener family of Hillsboro, Holly Kadel of Oklahoma City, Ken Pankratz and Van Vantauber of Durham.
Easter weekend guests of Betty Medley and Richard were the Rick Medley family from Galva, the Terry Medley family, and the Chris Hostel family from the Kansas City area. Frieda Birkle was an additional guest.
