Bartel medals in Hillsboro event
Eleven ladies participated in the 18-hole club championship held Aug. 23 at the Hillsboro Municipal Golf Course.
After play, lunch was served followed by awarding the medalist trophy and prizes. Results were as follows: Medalist — Pat Bartel, 89. First flight — First place, Sheryl Pankratz, 90; Second place, Darlene Bartel, 91; third place, Rita Brennan, 94. Second flight — First place, Raye Dirks, 108; Second place, Jane Long, 113; Third place, Edie Rempel, 120.
Longest drive, No. 4 — Pat Bartel; closest to pin, No. 6 — Sheryl Pankratz; longest putt, No. 9 — Sheryl Pankratz; least putts — Darlene Bartel; birdies — Judy Klein, Sheryl Pankratz; hole-out — Judy Klein.
