Bertha Vogt

Bertha Ann Vogt, 93, of Hillsboro died Dec. 11, 2002, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

Born Feb. 24, 1909, in Prevorst, Wurttenberg, Germany, she was the daughter of Wilhelm and Caroline (Baum) Shafer.

On Sept. 6, 1931, she married Albert Vogt in Enid, Okla. He died in 2001.

She was a homemaker and a member of Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church.

Survivors include her daughter Edith and husband Arnold Regier of rural Marion; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 14 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Tim Sullivan officiating. Burial was at Gnadenau Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.

A memorial has been established with Tabor Scholarship Fund at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church and Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.
