Birth: Jaden Nicole Slifer

Mr. and Mrs. Lindley P. Slifer of Marion announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Jaden Nicole, born May 31, 2003, at St. Luke Hospital, Marion. She weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Perry Ratzloff of Marion. Paternal grandparents are Eleanor Slifer, Florence and the late Dr. John C. Slifer.
