Birth: Jaida Kye McEwen

Dustin and Sunshine McEwen of Hillsboro announce the birth of their daughter, Jaida Kye, born June 28, 2002, at Newton Medical Center in Newton. She weighed 9 pounds and was 18 1/2 inches long. She has a brother, Koby Major McEwen, 3 years old.

Grandparents are Wally and Leanne Sheldon of Lincoln and Duane and Darlene McEwen of Norton.

Great-grandparents are Delmar and Annore Wolting of Barnard, John and Edith Sheldon of Lincoln and Cedoris McMullen of Norton.
