Burton, Haslett marry at Hill City
Collette Marie Burton and Jeffrey Leroy Haslett were united in marriage on Aug. 2, 2003, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Hill City. Father Don McCarthy officiated the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Albert and Lee Burton of Hill City and Gary and Patty Helsel of Syracuse.
The bride was escorted by her parents.
Matron of honor was Courtney Zohner, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Carey Burton, sister of the bride, Jessica Luck, and Amy Burton, sister-in-law of the bride.
Best man was Luke Pauly.
Groomsmen were Shane Haslett, brother of the groom, Kyle Humphrey, and Casey Finlay.
Guests were seated by Corey and Caleb Burton, brothers of the bride, Daniel Timm, and Tony Malleck.
Candlelighters were Kaleb and Kolton Dickerson.
Flower girls were Abby Burton, niece of the bride, and Elyssa Carr, cousin of the groom.
The bride's attendant was Sara Albrecht.
The bride is a graduate of Hill City High School and Fort Hays State University. She is a third grade teacher in Argonia.
The groom graduated from Syracuse High School and Fort Hays State University. He is a physical education teacher and coach in Argonia.
Following a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple are at home in Argonia.
