Carl Klassen
Carl Klassen, 70, of Hillsboro, died Aug. 19, 2002, at the HCMC Long Term Care Unit in Hillsboro.
Born April 19, 1932, at Goessel, he was the son of Otto and Linda (Hiebert) Klassen.
He was a farmer and a member of West Zion Church in Moundridge.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha (Patzer) Klassen Krause, and his second wife, Betty Jantz Klassen.
Survivors include: mother, Linda Hiebert Klassen of Marion; sons, Brian Klassen of Wichita, Bob Klassen of Dallas, Texas, and Dan Klassen of Casper, Wyo.; daughters, LeNora Duerksen of rural Hillsboro, Rebecca Morris of Hillsboro; brothers, Clarence Klassen of Livermore, Colo.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Zion Church of Moundridge with pastors John and Marcie Yoder Schrock and Jim Dunn. There will be no burial. The body was donated for research to the KU Medical Center.
A memorial fund has been established with the HCMC Long Term Care Unit in Hillsboro.
