Carl Klassen
Carl Klassen, 70, Hillsboro farmer, died Aug. 19, 2002, at Salem Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
He was born April 19, 1932, at Goessel, the son of Otto and Linda (Hiebert) Klassen.
His first wife was Martha Patzer Klassen Krase. His second wife, Betty (Jantz) Klassen, is deceased.
Survivors include sons Brian of Wichita, Bob of Dallas, Texas, and Dan of Casper, Wyo.; daughters, LaNora Duerksen and Rebecca Morris, both of Hillsboro; brother, Clarence of Livermore, Colo.; mother, Linda (Hiebert) Klassen of Marion; nine grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
He was a member of West Zion Church, Moundridge, where services were held Saturday morning. Pastors, John and Marcia Yoder Schrock and Jim Dunn officiated.
A memorial fund has been established in his name with Salem Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
