Catfish tourney is this weekend
Marion Lake Association will host a catfish tournament from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Cottonwood Point boat ramp, Marion Reservoir.
Creel and length limits are eight catfish, 15 inches or longer. Fish may be taken only by a rod and reel combination, with a limit of two lines per person.
A pre-meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Check-in is at 6 a.m. Sunday.
Entry forms are available at Canada Bait and Tackle. Fee is $50 per two-person team if paid in advance, $60 if paid at the pre-meeting.
Entry is limited to 70 boats. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 10 places if a full field of 70 boats is entered.
In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will be held Sept. 22.
