Chamber to offer healthcare option

Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce members will have another option for health insurance to offer their employees. In order to help battle continuously rising cost of health care and health insurance for local employers, the chamber is sponsoring a new program called ChamberHealth.

ChamberHealth, a program offered through Medova Healthcare Financial Group, is a healthcare services organization based in Wichita. ChamberHealth provides customized employee benefit programs designed to assist small to medium sized companies and employers.

A representative from ChamberHealth presented a program at the July Chamber of Commerce meeting to inform chamber members about this new opportunity and to answer questions.

The program is available to chamber members and other local business, and according to Megan Kilgore, Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce Director, there was definitely some interest in the program at the July meeting.

Rising health care costs has been ranked as one of the most important factors effecting employers. ChamberHealth will assist employers with a customized healthcare program specifically designed to meet their company and employee needs.
