Charles Horn

Charles (Chuck) Horn, 66, formerly of Hillsboro, died Jan. 27, 2005, at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

He was head of the education department at Tabor College from 1971 to 1978, during which time he was a member of Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church and served as interim pastor of Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church for several months.

He gave his heart to Christ as a boy of seven and served his Savior faithfully for the remainder of his life in many ministry capacities in many churches. He was also an adjunct faculty member at Broward Community College.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda; children, Fred and Debbie Horn of Grand Junction, Colo., Chris and Rose Horn of Galva, Jeremy and Kelli Horn of Layton, Utah, and Charlotte and Rob Adams of Ooltewah, Tenn; 19 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.

A memorial celebration of his life was held Feb. 5 at First Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Fla.
