Christian Mohn
Christian K. Mohn, 23, of Cumberland, R.I., formerly of Franklin, Mass., died Feb. 8, 2002, from injuries he received in an automobile accident in Franklin.
Born Sept. 8, 1978, in Houston, Texas, he was the son of Jeryl L. and Vicki N. (Huffman) Mohn of Sugar Land, Texas. He came to Franklin with his family in 1992. He was educated in the Franklin schools and attended the Boston Art Institute and New England Technical School in Warwick, R.I.
He worked as a carpenter and was an avid outdoorsman and artist, who in the eighth grade received the Golden Key Award sponsored by the Boston Globe for up and coming artists.
He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Justin L. Mohn, who is attending Northeastern University in Boston; grandparents, Oliver and Marcella Mohn of Hillsboro and the late Kenneth and Effie Huffman of Wichita.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, Texas. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
Visitation hours will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at funeral home.
